Where Have All The Elders Gone?

In fast paced environments that constantly demand you to evolve in the realm of current events, technology and even rules of engagements, do you take the needed time to tap into the elders within your community?

We must make the time to serve our elders while they are still with us.

In your consideration of time and patience with the elders of your community, you must ask yourself, ” Is this how I would like to be treated in my later years?”. This self-assessment will allow you to execute your next steps. Whatever it is you decide to do, you should be sharing your time and gifts that the elders in your community who have aided in development.

The distinction between an Elder versus am “Older” must be acknowledged. An Elder is vetted, appointed by their community and conducts themselves as leaders of those junior to them.
