HAVING THE RIGHT MIND
Are you aware of your behaviors, thoughts and patterns that are negative in your life? Are you willing to change? Deprogramming dysfunction begins with recognizing there is a need for change. An honest self-assessment, being in a righteous community with a-alikes that will hold you accountable and listening to wise counsel are all factors that can assist you with reformation. When we are able to identify the root cause of our dysfunctions, we can replace them with divine habits, thoughts and actions.
“The lower order mind has no authority. It can present the illusion of authority but it has no real power it has no authority. It’s greatest power is submission to the higher order mind.”

“”Hindu/Buddhist Philosophy provide us a means of superior meditation and connecting our thoughts, emotions, and body.”
— The ANU Way, Foundations Vol 1 – (The Declarations of Truth)
In Buddhism, The Noble Eightfold Path or The Middle Way, is the fourth part of the Four Noble Truths, as it is the path that leads to the end of suffering. The path constitutes eight actions one must take to attain good karma. Right mindfulness (being aware of yourself and the emotions of others) is one of these actions and is achieved through meditation.
During this process of getting to the right mind, we may notice the unhealthy coping mechanisms we have utilized and engaged only normalizing our dysfunction. Replacing unhealthy actions with healthier coping mechanisms includes movement, meditation or even journaling to write down our thoughts. Practicing new behaviors that align with divine thoughts will take time and effort but we are the agents of change within our own predicaments.
SCRIPTURE OF THE STRONG
“For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.”
Romans 8:5-6 (KJV)
